like everyone
in
middletown
he arose early
and
grabbed
a quick bite
before
heading
off to work
his assignment
each day
was
to
draw perfect circles
in
the sand
with nothing more
than
a willow rod
in
his hand
none
of the circles
were perfect
and
those that
approximated
perfection
were quickly
washed away
by
the tide
one would think
that
discouragement
would soon set in
but
he always accepted
his believed fate
and
day after day
would return
to the same spot
on the beach
and
repeat the task
until
he
was washed away
Loved it ♥️
oh wonderful!
I love listening to you speak your poetry. how are you able to add the recording to your page? I would like to try myself. It is inspiring!
Ah..my dear friend…I have to pay for extra storage for the media file uploads…I record the files with Audacity which is a free software program.
thank you Charles :)) I did look into it a bit after asking you. I have my actual hosted website on WordPress, I wonder if I can already put my audio on that one and lead people back there to listen. I wish I was a tech savvy poet and artist !
You should be able to create a link to the audio on the other page…perhaps the folks at WP could give you specific intructions.
hope I am not intruding, you can always put them up in YouTube and share the links in your wordpress site.
thank you! that’s a great idea :)))
sounds so eerily familiar!
