no difference days or years…

i’ve been wondering
if
that fly
on
the wall
has been watching me
or
just scanning
my
computer screen
for
the latest
world news
given
a housefly’s
life expectancy
i would think
it
would want
to go out
into
the world
and
experience life
rather than
just
sitting
and
staring at me
or
my screen
while
i spend
endless hours
reading
emails
and
writing verses
that
have no chance
of
changing
the
world
what
a foolish
common
little fly
