willing to face in his…

and
the judge
stood before a mirror
and
called for the defendant
to
stand
beside him
the judge
staring into the mirror
compared
each of their features
carefully
and
then
with a tone of voice
that was
incontestable
declared
you are
guilty
for
i see
my
beast
in you

  2. You got me thinking. A part of this morning’s sermon addressed the close connection between self-awareness and being close to God. I definitely know that increased self-awareness makes for more authentic and healthier relationships with other people. I’m going to have to think about the role of self-awareness and being able to make valid judgments about others. I think if I read between your lines, I hear that knowing my darker side makes me more capable of recognizing your darker side.
