Yes, I’ve read that scripture, however, in the poem, Charles specifically says: “all things come from god”, which by definition means all bad things too, example, in the gospel song, It Is Well With My Soul”, the choirs sings: “Whatever my lot, thou has taught me to sing: it is well, it is well with my soul.”
