uncertainty…

uncertainty

i was telling
aunt bea
about an incident
at work today
where
two of my colleagues
overheard
confused fragments
of a discussion
but later
each provided
a clear accounting
of the conversation
conveying completely
different viewpoints
i wondered
how and why
aunt bea
said
how some
resolve their confusion
is sometimes
just a mirror
reflecting
what lies
in their heart

  1. I think Bea is right, how we see things depends on what is in our hearts which is why and how two people can here the same words and interpret the meaning differently. this was thought provoking and well written! thanks! Michelle
