my country tis thee
whose sons carry guns to school
leaving children dead
leaving children dead
does not bother some with guns
they say guns don’t kill
they say guns don’t kill
but it is a bitter pill
when washed down with blood
when washed down with blood
these white washed walls of freedom
are stained forever
Violence begins at school.
oooh if we had my way we would have EI as part of the curriculum from the outset, if we can teach kids to read and write we can teach kids to understand their feelings

couldn’t agree more 😦 great poem Charles
This is very well written, Charles. Unfortunately there are some who just don’t get it. Have some people’s brains turned to stone?
fantastic and perfect words Charles. It’s so easy when the kid that dies is not yours!
