i shall not
have this conversation
this conversation
where
i tell you
that
you’ve spent more time
listening to lies
than
pursuing the truth
no
i shall
not
have this conversation
telling you that
your mantra
of perceived truth
is really
just a form
of white noise
designed
to block out
the obvious ambiguities
of the stories
you’ve heard
so
no i
shall not
have this
conversation
it will remain
a soliloquy
for
the whole nature
of
a conversation
is that
one
might
be heard
so
i shall not have
this
conversation
for to be
heard
would require
some enlightenment
on your part
and
well
i shall
not
have
this
conversation
i know what you are talking about.
and yet…
I’m listening, Charlie. In fact, I’m all ears. Have a wonderful weekend, my friend!
“Wisdom cannot be taught or given
It has to arise within.”
– Dhiravamsa
I would enjoy sending this to someone but… Well you have already finished my sentence.
it’s so sad if we never talk about things cause we know the other won’t listening… so very sad…
p.s. the book i mentioned a few days ago was “Alan and Naomi” by Myron Levoy
But you did. I know that conversation – in my head. I, like you, like everyone has that conversation (though a very different one) over and over in my head. Sometimes it won’t stop – but not very often.
Seems rather sad to leave one in the dark, I would think the truth would bring enlightenment and peace to both souls
yes, listening here too Charles … listening has to happen first it is true …
exactly – no point talking to a brick wall as my Mum used to say 😉
no one seems to be listening anyway…
Yeah, talking to some people is like this: “when your’e dead you’re dead and you don’t know it — it’s the same with stupid.”
Listening, hearing– these are what really make a difference. Well writ, my friend.
