one day the people from the houses on the hill gonna call you and ask you to lay down your life for things you ain’t seen ‘cept on tv or dreams at midnight gonna ask you to fight and maybe die for phantom freedom and fairytale endings to drugs on streets and unemployed lines yes gonna ask you to step right up and be a hero in their carnival of greed
