she was certain
she said
that he didn’t mean

doubt
since
there’s always
some degree of doubt

did he consider
reasonable
apparently
aunt bea said
he didn’t have
an answer
and
asked that
i
be escorted
from the room
i indicated
that would not
be necessary
i had brought
my own man
