does not die
but rather

like a half-forgotten dream
lingers
throughout the day
called life
within

We have only one life and we all die; either we go to heaven or hell. It all depends whether we live or die, determining by either our sins are washed away by Jesus’ blood, which is, to accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior and live, or to be lost in eternity in hell fire. We get to choose to where we want to go, either heaven or hell.
I like this very much…whatever your spiritual beliefs, it is inrrefutable that people live on in other memories. Interesting image to accompany it too.

Nice work. Like the theme and suggestive lines. “…if/then/the dream” Interesting word play on logic/rhetorical device. Thanks.
loved it, especially how it ended so abruptly, making us almost want to complete the poem ourselves. beautiful.
