you can take
this new computer
you got me
home
i’d much
rather
use
the phone
all these
computer apps
are starting
to make me
feel
paranoid
about
who’s
watching me
i ordered
flowers
for your cousin
and
ever since
flower ads
show up
whenever
i logon
i was
going to order
my meds
online
but
didn’t want
to see
any
mortuary ads
in the morning
that
would just
start
my new day
on
the wrong
side
of
existence

  1. so true…it’s a pest.. sometimes i email my poems to my iphone to re-read them on a walk or something…and you have no idea what funny ads i get, depending on the poems content…ha..made me shake my head more than once… and i’m glad i didn’t miss aunt bea…smiles

  2. Oh how I love Aunt Bea, she made me smile this morning, and how right she is about those ads. I often think the old ways are better.

  3. Well, hey aunt bea, I know exactly what you’re talking about. So much so that I’m searching for another search engine that does not collect my inquiries and turn them into advertising gibberish.
