you can take
this new computer
you got me
home
i’d much
rather
use
the phone
all these
computer apps
are starting
to make me
feel
paranoid
about
who’s
watching me
i ordered
flowers
for your cousin
and
ever since
flower ads
show up
whenever
i logon
i was
going to order
my meds
online
but
didn’t want
to see
any
mortuary ads
in the morning
that
would just
start
my new day
on
the wrong
side
of
existence

Aunt bea does not trust herself so why blame the computer?
so true…it’s a pest.. sometimes i email my poems to my iphone to re-read them on a walk or something…and you have no idea what funny ads i get, depending on the poems content…ha..made me shake my head more than once… and i’m glad i didn’t miss aunt bea…smiles
I know how aunt bea feels. It’s kind of creepy.
Aunt Bea is one smart cookie!
I LOVE your poems about Aunt Bea…
Big Brother – and we thought it was one big bad Govt.
Aunt Bea’s onto Them
Oh how I love Aunt Bea, she made me smile this morning, and how right she is about those ads. I often think the old ways are better.
I’m with Aunt Bea– stick up for your privacy! Once it’s gone you can’t get it back.
LOL. It reminds me of the little psychotic part of me that is paranoid just like Aunt Bea. I love the image. Thx, k
She makes me smile and nod my head.
Oh my, you must have been listening to my latest rant …
Life in modern times … ?
I feel this way too – paranoia is justified, IMO! Love that Aunt Bea. :)
Made my day Bea!
Well, hey aunt bea, I know exactly what you’re talking about. So much so that I’m searching for another search engine that does not collect my inquiries and turn them into advertising gibberish.
it made me laugh but i really, really share her paranoia, and i too really dont like people reading my private things.
