we just
wanted
to let you know
we’re sitting here
you may not
see us
but
we
are sitting
here
and
as you
negotiate
our future
we thought
you’d like to know
we’re sitting here
but
you appear
not to see us
but
we are
sitting here
watching you
smile into the camera
waving your hands
as if
you see us
but
we’ve decided
that you
cannot see
us
so we’ve
decided
to
stand

Charles, I love this-
Well said, Charlie… and when we do stand, if only they would UNDERstand!
that should be the spirit. amazing poem charles. another amazing poem i mean. if we are not notices we have to make it sure that we are noticed.

please submit the correction.
wonderfully said
Beautiful!! Yes all the way! Really love this :)
Excellent!
Great poem, Charlie. I especially like the title. Hope you have a wonderful day, my friend.
Hi A challenging poem my friend, I presume it’s about politicians and the masses the current is cut off and the gap is wids.well done my friend.
Nice! Standing up now…
Nicely done. Standing with you.
Fantastic. Now I’m off to stretch my legs.
Charles! May I please use your poem for this week’s Occupy Blogosphere?
Of course…feel free to use it…and thanks for considering it.
Okay – many thanks, Charles! Many!
Again, very well said. Have a great week.
A great way to say, the standing up of the 99%
Has the power of a mass silent protest – unsettling and effective
Go the 99%. Our Govt has just introduced a budget that takes from the rich and give back to the less well off – but the general populace seems to be more concerned with personalities and side issues to notice, unfortunately (and their dislike of a female prime minister who has no children, is unmarried and has red hair and a course voice and tough manner – God forbid!)
I love how you ended this. Excellently written as always.
Wildly good! Homerun!
Decided to stand and be heard. Yes.
